Choosing a new roof is an important decision – and we know you might have some questions along the way. To help, we’ve answered some of the most common queries about our tiled roof installation service.
How long does casement window installation take?
Typically 3-5 days depending on size and complexity. This includes the plastering and all electrical work (where required).
Do I need planning permission to replace my conservatory roof?
You are very unlikely to need planning permission but if you are changing a glass or polycarbonate roof for a solid roof you will need Local Authority Building Control. We will deal with all of regulation for you and, better still, it is included in the price.
Can I have lights in my new roof?
Yes, we can supply and fit recessed spotlights. Alternatively, if you want a centrepiece light or chandelier, if you source it our qualified electricians will fit it for you.
Can I choose the finish?
All our roofs can be finished with a shingle or tile effect- both of which are available in numerous colour options- to match your house roof.
Do I need to change my window frames?
There is usually no necessity to change your existing frames but we will be happy to advise you as part of the process. If you do decide to keep your frames the fascias and guttering of your new roof can be matched to match most existing frames.
